What’s important to you … so far

We’ve been asking about your vision for the future of Cambridge and what transport solutions we need to meet our aspirations as a community.

Some themes are already emerging, with strong support for a third bridge providing better connection between Cambridge and Leamington. Protecting our town’s character and village feel is also a high priority, as are active and safe forms of travel.

While managing congestion has been a consistent theme, there are conflicting views around the role of private vehicles: some people see cars as necessary well into the future, while others feel it’s important to reduce our reliance on cars and enhance public transport.
