Waipā is celebrating its more than 200 parks and open spaces next week with a range of fun, free activities as part of Parks Week, a national campaign to recognise the crucial role these spaces play in creating thriving communities.

Parks Week runs from Monday, March 3, and will showcase Waipā’s many parks, highlighting how open spaces can positively influence people’s wellbeing.

We’re thrilled to announce that Waipā’s Park of the Year for 2025 is Lake Te Koo Utu in Cambridge!
