The trial started on Thursday, March 13 this year. The aim is to give people more time to shop, dine and socialise in Cambridge, while still ensuring sufficient turnover of car parking spaces. The trial is currently scheduled to end in August, but we have an option to extend the trial until the end of the year to gather feedback. After the trial is over, a decision will be made on whether to keep the 90-minute parking limits or revert to 60-minute limits.

The trial is running on:

  • Victoria Street (between Alpha and Commerce Streets)
  • Duke Street (between Hallys Lane and Anzac Street)
  • Empire Street (between Alpha and Duke Streets)
  • Commerce Street (between Duke Street and Milicich Place)
